Dhiren DSouza, President & Co-Founder

As president and co-founder of SearchForce, Dhiren's leadership, engineering background, and long work days drive us to deliver exceptional software and support for search management professionals.

Dhiren's commitment to hiring phenomenally talented engineers and emphasis on team work, is the secret behind SearchForce's smart search management platform.

Attracted by the exploding space of search marketing, Dhiren co-founded SearchForce in 2004 where he leads the design and development of the optimization system architecture. Prior to SearchForce, he co-developed a customizable trading platform targeted toward the financial industry for IXNET, a Global Crossing company. Dhiren has a B.A in Mathematics and Computer Science, a M.S degree in quantitative finance and an M.S degree in computational statistics and machine learning from Rutgers University.

When not shaping the next-generation of search marketing technology, Dhiren sneaks away to do a little snow boarding in some of the best ski areas in the world. He is an avid airplane enthusiast, and loves to eat. It's a company mystery how he stays so skinny!


Santhosh Nair, Chief Technology Officer

Santhosh is the architect behind SearchForce's smart search technology where he brings sponsored search together with a highly scalable & reliable software architecture to create the most powerful search marketing platform on the market. As the second full-time employee at SearchForce, Santhosh is justifiably proud of the company's progress.

Before joining SearchForce, Santhosh spent more than a dozen years handling large-scale distributed systems where data accuracy, speed, security and retrieval are key to a scalable product and architecture. Previously, Santhosh designed the application integration server for ChartOne's hosted EHIM Solutions. And, he was on the engineering team that designed Picture Archiving & Communication System (PACS) for Eastman Kodak.

Santhosh holds a Bachlor's degree in Communication Engineering from the University of Kerala and a Master's in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University. When he is not innovating search management you'll find Santhosh on the cricket field, passionately scoring runs.


Lisa Goodman, Chief Financial Officer

While most of our team is focused on counting things like keywords, conversions, and PPC expenditures, Lisa is adding up our financial bits and pieces.

As SearchForce’s Chief Financial Officer, Lisa leads our financial planning, debt financing, and budget management functions.

She brings to SearchForce an extensive background in finance, business, media development and strategy. Lisa has worked in some of the most well known companies in the finance and media sectors, including Sony, Morgan Stanley, and MGM. Lisa consulted for several start-ups in new business strategy and financial management before joining SearchForce.  

Lisa holds an MBA in finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brandeis University, in Waltham, MA.


Samir Patel, Founder

Samir Patel founded SearchForce in 2004 with a vision of enabling online marketing managers to manage paid search campaigns much more simply and profitably. Before creating SearchForce, Samir founded AudioBoom, a digital locker and rights management software pioneer. At iPIN, later acquired by Valista, he designed the world's first open scalable mobile payments platform. In a special project, Samir helped design the go-to-market strategy for eBay's apparel division, a $500M business unit. He also held senior system integration positions with organizations including the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was responsible for designing eLearning, Content management, and Web analytics platforms. Much quoted in CNN, BusinessWeek , DMNews, Reuters and Mercury News, Samir has a B.S in information technology from CSU and an MBA in brand marketing from Cornell University.


Juan Lin, Chief Scientist

While most of his energies are directed towards building the most powerful bid management framework and sophisticated bid optimization algorithms on the market, Juan also manages to sneak in daily foosball games, where he beats us all.

As SearchForce’s Chief Scientist Juan loves being on the cutting edge of quantitiative advertising.

Prior to joining SearchForce, Juan was a faculty member in the mathematics department at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and in the statistics department at Rutgers University. His research in statistical network analysis, data mining and machine learning was funded by the National Science Foundation. He holds a Ph.D. in statistical physics from University of Chicago, and a B.S. degree in physics from Yale University. In addition to playing a mean game of foosball, Juan enjoys swimming, rollerblading and playing ultimate frisbee.


James Chiu, Engineering & Architecture

James' software engineering talents are behind the superior scalability and performance of SearchForce's search marketing platform.

We're always amazed by James' ability to resolve seemingly impossible software development challenges. James thrives on challenges, and has impeccable credentials including a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, a MS in Computer Science from Stanford University, a MS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Chung Yuan University in Taiwan.

James has worked with leading software companies in the Silicon Valley including HP, SAP, and Oracle.

When he's not designing additional SearchForce features, you'll find James at play with his two children, Justin and Jacklyn.


Valeriy Pelyushenko, Engineering & Architecture

When you log into the SearchForce application and see your current campaign data, you have Valeriy to thank. As a software architect, Valeriy focuses on the integration between SearchForce and the major search engines.

Valeriy has a Master's Degree from St. Petersburg State University in Russia. Before working at SearchForce he held software engineering positions at Plumtree Software, CNET/Webshots.com, Exadel Inc. Ludi Labs.


Neha Sharma, Engineering & Technical Support

We have Neha to thank for the high marks our clients give SearchForce for technical support. As one of our lead software engineer's, not only is Neha responsible for developing critical components of our search management platform, she is on call to troubleshoot our client's most challenging PPC management questions.

Neha's background is well-suited to problem resolution. She has a Master's degree in Software Engineering from San Jose State University. Prior to joining SearchForce Neha spent several years teaching engineering to college students, a job that prepared her to help SearchForce clients tackle challenging search engine marketing projects.

To unwind from work, Neha enjoys painting and traveling.

Christian Baptiste, Interaction Designer

Christian's deep understanding of PPC management is reflected in SearchForce's intuitive interface. As an interaction/usability designer Christian designs applications that are easy to use, intuitive, intelligent, flexible, and pleasing to the eye.

When designing SearchForce's innovative interface Christian paid close attention to a PPC manager's day to day tasks. The result is that SearchForce provides advertisers with the tools to quickly, efficiently and effectively manage complex search marketing campaigns.

Christian's portfolio includes some of the largest Internet and software companies in the world. He has built applications, sites, and eMarketing material, for companies like Siebel, Roxio, Sonic, Curious labs, AOL's Instant Messenger, Odigo, and SKYY Vodka.

Christian is also recognized by Adobe as an ACE (Adobe Community Expert). He occasionally does product demonstration at Adobe user groups showing product techniques as well as discussing design and usability tips.
